Skip is NFRA’s President and CEO who works with all departments and the Board of Directors to ensure the Association’s mission “to promote the sales, consumption and awareness of frozen and refrigerated foods” is achieved. He began his career with the Association in 1984 and has witnessed many changes and innovations in promoting the frozen and refrigerated food industry to the consumer. Besides spending time with his family, Skip enjoys golfing, boating and reading.
Executive Vice President/COO
Jeff is NFRA’s Executive Vice President and COO who oversees the marketing and promotional activities of the Association and manages its meetings including the NFRA Convention. Originally from the Midwest, Jeff’s career path has taken him through all levels of store and trade association management. In addition to family activities, he enjoys motorcycling, golf and anything to do with the outdoors.
Julie W. Henderson
Vice President of Communications
Julie supervises the Communications Department and is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all member and consumer communications including NFRA’s annual promotions, consumer PR campaigns and Association events. She also serves as the staff liaison to the Refrigerated Food Council and the Refrigerated Promotions Committee. Julie has served on the Board of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Harrisburg chapter for many years, currently as the VP of Membership. In her free time, she likes to read, garden, travel and visit her son in Cleveland.
Vice President of Finance
Jessica is the Vice President of Finance who works closely with the President & CEO to keep a sharp eye on the Association’s finances. She is responsible for providing leadership over accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and human resources within the Association. Some of her duties include preparing monthly financial statements, bi-weekly payroll, submitting quarterly payroll tax returns, cash flow management and benefits administration. In her free time she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family, including her two daughters who keep her busy.
Communications/Digital Media Coordinator
Roxanne is the Communications/Digital Media Coordinator who oversees NFRA’s entire consumer communications, including the digital and social media efforts under the Easy Home Meals brand. She creates content, monitors and interacts with consumer audiences on the Easy Home Meals website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. She also assists in the planning and implementation of NFRA’s national promotions and year-round public relations campaigns. Roxanne is the President of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Harrisburg Chapter. When she’s not on social media, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding her bike, baking and spending time with her husband.
Member Communications Coordinator
Natalie is the Member Communications Coordinator, managing the Association website and LinkedIn group, assisting with NFRA’s event websites and mobile app, taking charge of various NFRA Convention projects and helping with social media content and blog posts for NFRA’s consumer-facing Easy Home Meals properties. Natalie also collaborates and creates various print and digital design projects and oversees advertising for the association. In her free time, she enjoys baking, taking on Pinterest projects and spending time with her husband Jake and their cat Holly.
Tracy is the Communications/Office Manager who works to ensure the entire staff has everything they need to keep NFRA running smoothly. She manages the Association’s POS materials, mailings and incoming phone calls and assists the Communications Department with various projects. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in craft shows, going to the local dirt track races and is an avid NASCAR fan. Tracy recently celebrated 30 years with NFRA.
Membership and Events Coordinator
Sarah is the Membership and Events Coordinator, managing membership recruitment and retention for the Association and assisting with the administration of the NFRA Convention, including registration, hotel coordination, advertising and sponsorships. She also manages the registration and hotel coordination for the Executive Conference and assists with the annual Mid-Year Board of Directors meeting. Sarah is one of the NFRA staff liaisons to the Membership Committee, Small Business Manufacturers Forum and Supply Chain Forum. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, checking out local wineries and breweries and traveling.
Membership & Events Assistant
Rachel is the Membership and Events Assistant, providing administrative support to the planning and implementing of activities related to the Association’s events as well as membership recruitment and retention. Rachel also helps maintain the data integrity of the member and prospect member database, Abila NETFORUM. In her downtime, she enjoys playing soccer, reading, going to concerts, creating her own art and playing the ukulele.
