These influential groups gather during our annual events with the purpose of bringing the industry together to collaborate, share ideas, and discuss topics related to the group’s focus. To get involved with a Committee, members can contact NFRA Staff. Open Forums are accessible to all members and allow participants to learn from and with their peers.

Promotions Committee
2025 Chair: Angela Rosenquist, InnovAsian Cuisine
The Promotions Committee plays a key role in shaping NFRA’s frozen and refrigerated promotions while exploring new opportunities to drive category growth. This committee develops promotional plans, creates supporting resources like POS materials and media releases, and collaborates with local associations to amplify promotional efforts nationwide. Additionally, the committee oversees the Golden Penguin Awards, recognizing excellence in merchandising, marketing, and creative execution across all membership categories.

Small Business Manufacturer’s Forum
The Small Business Manufacturer’s Forum connects small and emerging manufacturers with retailers and brokers to discuss opportunities, challenges, and strategies for growth in the frozen and refrigerated foods industry. The forum features retailer insights, best practices, and case studies tailored to the unique needs of small producers.

Supply Chain Forum

The Supply Chain Forum provides a space to discuss key frozen and refrigerated supply chain opportunities, issues and challenges. The Forum offers information and ideas for members to grow their business through supply chain optimization and shared industry best practices.
